AREEA has been invited to comment on draft legislation relating to fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) practices in Queensland.

The draft legislation was developed by the Queensland Government in response to findings and recommendations following the 2015 Queensland FIFO Inquiry and Review.

AREEA provided a comprehensive submission to the inquiry in May 2015.
