UP-SKILLING your Queensland workforce with nationally recognised qualifications in operational roles is now easier, with AREEA Training & Development able to tap into the state government’s funding initiating the ‘Certificate III Guarantee’.

Established as part of the Queensland Government’s five-year Great Skills, Real Opportunities training reform plan, the Certificate III Guarantee provides funding for eligible candidates to help expand their career skills by attaining their first post-school qualification.

A once-off funding plan, the Certificate III Guarantee is open to any Queensland resident aged 15 years and above who is no longer at school and holds no prior certificate III level or higher qualifications.

One certificate on offer under the program is the Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations (RII30113), providing candidates with skills in issuing work permits, applying first aid, planning and conducting field work, and conduct surface blast hole drilling operations.

Through a partnership with AREEA Training & Development, AREEA members can up-skill their workforce to a Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations (RII30113) and take advantage of funding under the Certificate III Guarantee program.
