Employment Minister Michaelia Cash has warned key Senate crossbenchers that a push for a federal corruption body is a political diversion run by unions to stymie the revival of the Australian Building and Construction Commission.
…But the political row over the confidential volumes of the royal commission — an issue slammed as a “sideshow” by industry groups such as the Australian Mines and Metals Association — now threatens to become the key issue which will determine the passage of the ABCC bill.
