Australian Resources and Energy Group AREEA is pleased to announce Tom Quinn, Managing Director and CEO of Broadspectrum Limited, has accepted the Board of Directors’ nomination as the Group’s new President.
Mr Quinn has more than 30 years’ experience in professional and technical roles across the mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, chemicals and construction industries.
He joined Broadspectrum, a highly diversified multinational services provider with 96,000 employees across 20 countries, in 2016 as Chief Executive, Resources.
In 2018 he was appointed Managing Director and CEO.
Mr Quinn joined the AREEA Board of Directors in 2017 and has served as Vice President for the past two years. He assumes the President role from Richard Owen, Upstream Business Development Executive, ExxonMobil, who steps down after more than five years on the Board.

In other AREEA Board announcements, Francesca Lee, Chief Legal, Risk & Compliance Officer at Newcrest Mining, is stepping down after 1.5 years on the Board.
Meg O’Neill, Executive Vice President Development, Woodside Energy, accepted the AREEA Board’s nomination as Vice President, joining Linda O’Farrell of Fortescue Metals Group in the role.
