The Indigenous Employment and Retention Award recognises an organisation that has implemented a training and/or employment initiative resulting in the successful engagement of Indigenous Australians within their workforces. Further, they must be an employee of a resource-related company at both the time of the application and the presentation of the award.
Nominations must be lodged by a director of the relevant division or a senior management representative.
The winner of the 2018 Indigenous Employment and Retention Award will receive an award designed by H.W. Holdsworth and will be presented at the 2018 AREEA Centenary Gala Dinner. Two tickets will also be available to attend the Centenary Gala Dinner 1 August 2018. All travel arrangement are at own cost.
Award nominations should adhere to the following guidelines:
- 200 words on the opportunity/challenge identified by the organisation;
- 300 words on developing and implementing the solution(s); and
- 300 words on the outcome(s) and success metrics.
