Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) is a national initiative dedicated to supporting a higher representation of female leadership throughout the Australian workforce and the broader community.

Focused on developing leadership capability, enabling career progression and assisting women to more effectively manage the opposing challenges of career and life, WLA has become a highly regarded provider of leadership education to Australian women.

Through a powerful national network, Women & Leadership Australia regularly connects with thousands of individuals, providing on-going support and advice at every stage of their leadership journey.

Through its partnership with the Australian School of Applied Management, Women & Leadership Australia awards scholarships to women in the resources sector. The scholarship program provides financial support to assist women to participate in a number of WLA programs and activities. Scholarship funding reflects the long-term commitment of WLA and its many stakeholders to the advancement of gender equity in Australian Workplaces. WLA Programs and events include:


Women on Boards (WOB) seeks to improve the gender balance on Australian boards. It is funded through subscriber fees and earnings from services to organisations seeking to improve gender diversity.

WOB partners with the corporate, government and non-profit sectors to hold events and programs, create opportunities for women and coach and mentor them into career and director roles.
Women on Boards offer a number of courses and events for members and non-members.

Xplore for Success offers a distinctive range of programs that challenge, motivate, inspire and educate professionals in the modern workplace.
Xplore offers services that provide a unique opportunity for professionals to develop strategies to build their own skills through individual and/or group sessions led by experienced and insightful facilitators.

Diversity Council Australia (DCA) is a workplace diversity advisor to business in Australia. They offer a unique knowledge of research, practice and expertise across diversity dimensions developed over more than 25 years of operation.

DCA members have access to a range of free or discounted services that can support and enhance their internal diversity and inclusion capabilities and external profile.

DCA holds a variety of events so you can learn about the latest diversity trends, and share knowledge so you can learn from DCA and their network who are leaders in diversity. Almost all of these events are exclusively for members.
