IF you’re a woman working in the resource industry and you’ve ever wondered how mentoring could help your career, now is the time to sign up for the Australian Women in Resources Alliance’s (AWRA) e-Mentoring Program. But get in quick – high demand for our pool of experienced and high-profile mentors mean just five spots remain in the next round beginning mid-March.

More than 200 women working across Australia’s resources and related sectors have already benefited from AWRA e-Mentoring; a program developed by your resource industry employer group AREEA to support gender diversity in the sector.

Mentees are matched with a male or female mentor and embark on a structured, nine-month mentoring journey, with support from the AWRA team along the way.

And as its name suggests, ‘e-Mentoring’ utilises a range of communication channels to make it accessible to women working on-site or in regional locations.

With participation complimentary for eligible mentees and mentors, we also encourage you to circulate this opportunity among your team members and throughout your organisation.
