Australian Resources and Energy Group AREEA is pleased to offer an industry-first, national training program delivering specialised content and practical activities to contextualise mental health in the resources and energy industry.
AREEA’s Resources and Energy Industry Mental Health Training is delivered by subject matter specialist Liz Tobin (consultant to Beyond Blue and other organisations) and AREEA’s expert workplace consultants.
Participants receive key insights, applications, practical activities, and practice mental health-based conversations as they relate to workplaces and situations in our industry.
In this program participants will:
- Be exposed to general workplace mental health concepts and theories
- Contextualise mentally healthy workplaces in the resources and energy industry
- Explore features of a mentally healthy workplaces
- Address mental health hazards and control measures relating to COVID-19
- Practice practical implementation and workplace conversations
This program has been developed under the direction and guidance of AREEA’s Resources and Energy Industry Mental Health Advisory Board. It has been fine-tuned for delivery as a facilitated online, three hour interactive program to cater for site and workplace restrictions.
