Grange Resources is Australia’s oldest and most experienced magnetite producer.

Grange Resources Limited (Grange Resources) owns and operates Australia’s largest integrated iron ore mining and pellet production business located in the northwest region of Tasmania. The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine, 100km southwest of the city of Burnie, is a long life mining asset set to continue operation to 2034. At Port Latta, 70kms northwest of Burnie, is Grange Resources’ wholly owned pellet plant and port facility producing approximately two million tonnes of premium quality iron ore pellets annually with plans to increase annual production in the coming years to 2.7 million tonnes. Grange holds long term supply contracts for one million tonnes of its annual production and offers the balance of its production to market via a spot sales tendering/contracting process. All production is offered FOB and is shipped to major steel producers in Asia.

As well as this profitable magnetite operation, Grange Resources has the majority interest in a world class magnetite development project at Southdown near Albany in Western Australia. The Southdown development project is forecast to supply nearly four times the amount of ore iron from Savage River, being 10 million tonnes of premium magnetite concentrate annually. A detailed feasibility study has been completed and all major approvals are in place. Grange is actively seeking an equity partner to take a strategic share of the Company’s interest in the project.

Grange Resources is Australia’s oldest and most experienced magnetite producer and a proven and reliable commercial producer of magnetite pellets in Australia combining both mining and pellet production expertise.
