The Young Professional Award recognises an individual who, in a short period of time, has had a positive and noticeable impact on workforce-related processes or practices within their organisation.
Candidates must have no more than 10 years’ experience working in the fields of human resources, industrial relations or operations. Further, they must be an employee of a resource-related company at both the time of the application and the presentation of the award.
Nominations must be lodged by either a direct supervisor or a senior executive/manager of the business.
The winner of the 2018 Young Professional Award will receive an award designed by H.W. Holdsworth and will be presented at the 2018 AREEA Centenary Gala Dinner. Two tickets will also be available to attend the Centenary Gala Dinner 1 August 2018. All travel arrangement are at own cost.
Award nominations should adhere to the following guidelines:
- 200 words on the HR/IR/workforce challenge faced by the individual;
- 300 words on developing and implementing a solution; and
- 300 words on the results and success metrics.
