The resource industry’s high achievers deservedly caught the attention of national media following the 2017 AREEA Industry Awards.
In this article in the West Australian, the high achievers of the resources and energy sector were acknowledged.
Respected ABC reporter Babs McHugh also interviewed Heathgate Resources, who took out the Indigenous Employment and Retention award. The interview aired across South Australia, Victoria and Queensland.
IQ Industry Queensland have run two stories, one featuring Incitec Pivot young Professional winner Hannah Campbell and another on Morris Corporation’s training and development program.
Online resources industry platform Australian Mining also published a wrap of the awards, as did Mining Monthly.
The Energy News Bulletin published an article celebrating McDermott Australia’s FIFOcus health and wellbeing program.
News service Stockhead ran a story on Heathgate Resources’ commitment to Indigenous training stating the uranium miner’s work was changing attitudes towards learning.
Hannah Campbell was also featured in a story titled, Moranbah Engineer recognised, for shiftminer.com.au.
Networking Women also ran stories on Hannah’s award and also Fortescue’s diversity program which was recognised in the AWRA category.
The Australian Security Magazine published an article in the lead-up to the forum.
