Brad Thompson is a highly experienced communications and media advisor, who provides high level support in order to contribute to AREEA’s growth and branding.

Highly skilled in the delivery and strategy of media, communications and policy development, Brad coordinates AREEA’s general and social media activities and fortnightly News Update.

He also delivers the widely-circulated industry magazine Resource People, working with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and build relationships.

With a high level of attention to detail and striving for excellence, Brad works to high standards in supporting AREEA’s policy, campaigns and special projects, as well as creating marketing and event communications.

This includes the compilation of briefings and research material, internal and external correspondence, and assisting in policy and campaign materials.

Before joining AREEA in early 2017, Brad worked as a newspaper editor and journalist, and also as Chief of Staff to a Crossbench MP.
