Following the conclusion of the AREEA and AWRA Pay Equity and Gender Diversity survey, AWRA will soon host a Special Interest Group (SIG) where the results of the survey will be analysed.

Conducted in recent weeks, the Pay Equity and Gender Diversity survey aimed for a greater understanding of pay equity and other workforce gender diversity practices across the resource, related construction and allied services industries. To date, no survey of this nature has covered all-sized organisations across our industry.

AWRA will be hosting the SIG on 25 March 2014 in Brisbane and 2 April 2014 in Perth. This SIG will present the findings of the surveys, identify best practice and provide an opportunity for practitioners to collaborate on this important issue.
