Women in the resource, allied and related construction industries are crying out for support and guidance from experienced and knowledgeable male and female mentors.

More than 100 of our industry’s bright, ambitious women are waiting to be matched with a mentor as part of AWRA e-Mentoring Program, with the final three rounds due to commence on 24 June, 15 July and 5 August.

AWRA is seeking more than 80 professionals across a range of occupations and levels, to act as mentors and share the benefit of their experiences such as working in operational roles, remote locations or under challenging rosters.

In this innovative program, mentors can provide advice and assistance regardless of location using the online e-Mentoring platform, and work with mentees through a nine-month structured and supported process.

Please consider providing support and guidance to a woman in our industry by acting as her mentor.

AWRA wishes to assist as many mentees as possible, so if there’s a junior female employee within your organisation who is based in a remote location and could benefit from the AWRA e-Mentoring Program, we encourage you to put them in touch with us. Participation in the program is subject to limited places and the availability of appropriate mentors.
