RTO status
AMMA
is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). As such we can deliver and assess
accredited training packages and issue nationally recognised qualifications.
We
currently offer a number of qualifications specific to mining. We will also
continue to make additions to our training scope, to match the evolving needs
of our members.
One
of the most successful models for implementing accredited training in the
resource sector and allied industries is the formation of RTO partnerships.
The
RTO Partnership model is based on the organisation providing on-the-job
training for employees with the use of the organisations own trainers and
assessors, while the RTO, in this case AMMA, supervises and guides the training
process in conjunction with the organisation. The RTO also deals with
regulatory and compliance issues for statutory bodies on behalf of the
organisation.
