AMMA launches new look website
17-Feb-2006
Welcome to the new look of AMMA! AMMA today launched its new website, offering improved information and networking services to its members. The new Members' Area will be accessible to all authorised users from Tuesday 21 February 2006.

AMMA’s new look website will provide members with improved information and networking services. Some of the new features on the website include:

  • A dedicated Members’ Area which is password protected and provides us with the opportunity to communicate with our members in a secure fashion. The Members’ Area will be used to publish our existing information services (the AMMA Bulletin, National and State Circulars) as well as AMMA Industry surveys, trend data and discussion papers.
  • A Members’ Toolkit section where members can freely access handy guidelines, tips, summary tables of legislation and useful links to government agencies. Some of the tools included in the toolkit are:
    •  How to distinguish between employees and independent contractors
    •  A comparative table of State Long Service leave provisions
    • A checklist of Ordinary Time Earnings vs Salary/Wages
    • A checklist for handling a disciplinary matter; and many more…
  • A new section called “Members’ Voice” will enable members to discuss topical issues with each other or raise awareness of circumstances impacting on the industry.
  • A new section called “Case Studies” illustrate how AMMA has assisted members with a variety of employee relations matters.
  • Profiles on all AMMA consulting staff.
