AMMA submission on paid parental leave
12-Jun-2008
AMMA's submission to the Productivity Commission argues that paid parental leave should not be an award matter.

In its submission to the Productivity Commission inquiry about paid parental leave, AMMA argues that  any provision for compulsory paid parental leave should be a government responsibility and that it should not become an award matter vulnerable to disputation.

AMMA's submission also supports enterprise bargaining at the workplace level for any voluntary employer payments above the compulsory standard, without recourse to arbitration.

AMMA's full submission is available here.
