Minna Knight is responsible for
AMMA’s strategic public affairs and media management and also oversees
service delivery and communication to members through AMMA’s Member Services
Division. Minna is also responsible for providing strategic direction in the
delivery of AMMA campaigns, which includes providing guidance in the
development of resources sector policy positions and lobbying activities.
Minna also represents AMMA in lobbying activities at both state and federal
levels.
As an experienced consultant
and advocate, Minna can also assist member companies at a strategic level
with HR and IR advice and communications for their organisations.
Minna has previously held roles
as a Senior Adviser to Julie Bishop, Deputy Leader of the Coalition and Joe
Hockey, Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations during the lead-up to
the 2007 election – one of the best and worst time of her life.
Prior to this time, Minna has worked as an industrial relations practitioner and policy advisor for a range of
industries and industry groups spanning across various industry sectors
including manufacturing, construction and hospitality.
Minna holds a Bachelor of
Economics and has undertaken post-graduate studies in employment law,
industrial relations and public affairs.
