With over six years experience as an
employee relations consultant, Mark has particular expertise in on-site
industrial relations services during major events such as shutdowns and
construction projects. Currently, he performs the role of independent IR
adviser to contractors involved in BHP Billiton’s Olympic Dam Project (SA).

Based on his extensive on-site experience,
Mark has particular expertise in union right of entry matters. He is also responsible
for AMMA's Vessel Operator and ROV Special Interest Groups.
Before joining AMMA, Mark worked as an
industrial relations advisor at the National Electrical Contractors
Association (SA). He has experience with representations to Fair Work
Australia, the Australian Industrial Relations Commission, the Industrial
Relations Court of South Australia and the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity
Commission in South Australia.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Management (Human
Resources), Certificate III (Frontline Management), Certificate IV (Field
Power Generation Systems) and, is a Workplace Trainer.
He has also completed an electrical
apprenticeship with the Australian Defence Force (Army) and is currently
completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Curtin University
(WA).
