Helene O’Donnell – Director Education and Training

 

Helene O’Donnell is AMMA’s Director Education and Training and is based in the Sydney Office.

 

Helene has an extensive career as a training and organisational development specialist and has worked with many organisations from both the private and government sector, including Mayne Logistics, Telstra, ORICA, ANZ Banking Group, Air New Zealand and the Australian Industry Group. She has also worked overseas and was involved in managing the first and largest competency based training program for a major government project. 

 

Helene has been heavily involved in consulting and advising organisations in a diverse range of industries, in the training and development of their employees to maximise and increase the organisation’s productivity and achieve corporate objectives.

 

Helene is an accomplished Key Note Speaker and facilitates workshops in the areas of training and development and holds the position of Chairperson of numerous committees and Boards involved in the private education and training sector. Helene is the founder and organiser of the first inaugural RTO EXPO and is the author of a book called the ‘RTO Managers Bible’.

 

Helene also is the creator and voluntary editor of a national publication called ‘RTO TALK’ and is a voluntary advisor for a federal government training initiative. Helene holds a Master of Organisational Development and Training, Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and holds various other qualifications in both training and business.

 

Since joining AMMA in August 2005, Helene has used her vast experience to assist members in achieving their training needs and objectives.
