Belinda Honey – Employee Relations Consultant

Belinda Honey is an Employee Relations Consultant based in AMMA’s Perth office.

Prior to joining AMMA in June 2008, Belinda was providing people management and employee relations consulting services to oil and gas, construction and technology companies. Belinda's career has seen her working as a Group Human Resources Manager for the Pacific region with the Resources and Defence Division of the Compass Group. Belinda has also worked as a Superintendent - Employee Relations for Coal and Allied Industries Limited (a subsidiary of Rio Tinto Limited) at the Mount Thorley coal mine, for an employer association in the private health industry, and in the public health industry.

Belinda has extensive experience in identifying people management practices that compliment business and financial requirements. In particular she has been involved in the mobilisation of major contracts, managing people issues during acquisitions and organisational change, developing and implementing industrial relations strategies in a variety of working environments, developing employment arrangements and contracts (including for FIFO and expatriate staff), managing a diverse human resources function, and providing ongoing support and mentoring to human resource professionals.  

Belinda's experience over more than eighteen years is complimented by a Masters of Commerce degree, a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (Psychology) and a Graduate Diploma of Business (Management).
