Belinda’s 20 years’ experience covers all areas of the resources industry. She has worked in the contracting industry for resources companies at more than fifty sites across Australia, in coal mining in New South Wales and as a consultant to a number of oil and gas and construction companies.

Belinda’s previous roles have also included Group Human Resources Manager for the Pacific region with the Compass Group, a major supplier of support services to the mining and defence industries, employing over 4000 employees across the Pacific region.

Belinda has also worked as a Superintendent - Employee Relations for Coal and Allied Industries Limited (a subsidiary of Rio Tinto Limited) in the Hunter Valley and in a number of employee relations roles in the health industry.

Belinda holds a Master of Commerce (Organisational Behaviour), a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) and a Graduate Diploma of Business (Management).

Belinda is experienced in identifying people management practices that complement strategic business and financial requirements. Her expertise includes the mobilisation of major contracts and the start-up of business units, assisting with implementing major change within an organisation, working with management teams to develop appropriate employee strategies and ensuring they are implemented throughout the business, managing people issues during acquisitions and major restructures, developing and implementing complex employee relations strategies, and providing ongoing support and mentoring to human resource and management professionals.
