Alice is an Employee Relations Consultant based in the Perth office since relocating from AMMA’s Melbourne office in February 2011. Prior to working in Melbourne, Alice was based in AMMA’s Adelaide office. Alice assists AMMA’s Workplace Operations team to support AMMA members achieve their workplace relations objectives. Alice can assist members with general industrial and workplace relations inquiries, providing strategic employee relations related advice as required.

Alice is admitted to practice as a legal practitioner after completing degrees in Law and International Studies in 2007. Alice has appeared in the Australian Industrial Relations Commission/Fair Work Australia and the South Australian Workers Compensation Tribunal, and had involvement in proceedings in the South Australian District and Supreme Courts, the Equal Opportunity Commission and the Equal Opportunity Tribunal. Alice has also recently completed a Project Management Course.

Whilst supporting all AMMA lobbying projects in her previous role as AMMA’s Employee Relations and Policy Officer, Alice has directly lobbied the Productivity Commission for the interests of AMMA members in relation to the 2008 inquiry into paid parental leave, and has provided both written and oral submissions to the Productivity Commission in this respect.

Alice has been significantly involved in the award modernisation process and has provided AMMA’s Award Modernisation Advisory Team with research assistance throughout the process for both the mining and hydrocarbons industries.
