Submission to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee on the Migration Amendment (Offshore Resources Activity) Repeal Bill 2014

As part of the Australian Government’s review process for the Migration Amendment (Offshore Resources Activity) Repeal Bill 2014, AREEA has provided input to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee.

AREEA is extremely supportive of this Bill seeking to repeal the Migration Amendment (Offshore Resources Activity) Act 2013, which will extend Australia’s migration zone to include all foreign ships operating within the Exclusive Economic Zone from 30 June 2014.
